The Survey Data: What People Report
The most frequently cited research on food and dreams comes from a 2015 Canadian study by Tore Nielsen and Russell Powell, which surveyed 396 undergraduate students about their dietary habits and self-reported dream characteristics.
The findings were striking in their specificity:
